Since 2018, the Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) has organized statewide Remna Ni celebrations, honoring individuals and organizations that played significant roles in the peace process. This year, four leaders— J.H. Rothuama, P. Lalupa, Lalthanzauva, and Ngurchhina—were recognized for their courageous act of resigning from their MLA positions in 1981 to advance the peace talks. In the 2019 celebration, the MZP honored Lalduhoma, the current Chief Minister, for his contributions.
