The newly elected leaders of the Zomi Students’ Federation – General Headquarters (ZSF-GHQ) were officially sworn in today during a ceremony held at the Zomi Council office in Hebron Veng. The event marked the beginning of their second consecutive term, which will run from 2024 to 2027.
Vumsuan Naulak, Chairman of the Zomi Council, administered the oath of secrecy to the elected leaders, while KC Smack, Chairman of the Election Commission, presented the election certificates. All three candidates were elected uncontested during the federation's election on October 26, 2024.

The oath-taking ceremony was well-attended by representatives from various student organizations, including the Kuki Students’ Organization Churachandpur, Hmar Students’ Association Tuithaphai Joint Headquarters, and the Zomi Youth Association.
With a decisive win, these leaders are poised to continue their efforts in guiding the federation through the challenges and opportunities of the upcoming term.
