The Jwalamukhi Batallion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), felicitated the labor force working in Kangpokpi district of Manipur on World Labour Day.
Major Infrastructure Development activities are under progress in the district wherein large numbers of casual laborers are working relentlessly and around the clock for the timely completion of these projects, the AR source said.
On the occasion of World Labour Day, a befitting acknowledgment was extended to the entire labor force by the Jwalamukhi Batallion.
Company Operating bases at Kangchup, Motbung, and Kangpokpi reached out and offered essential supplies and refreshments to the labor force.
The casual laborers expressed their gratitude to Jwalamukhi Batallion for recognizing their work.
One Imo, a local laborer said that with the presence of the Batallion in the region they can carry out their job easily and without any fear.
Another laborer said that they were happy that their contributions to nation-building are not going unnoticed and that benevolent gestures extended by the Jwalamukhi Battalion are heartwarming for them.
