Former BJYM State President Barish Sharma, Accuses Former CM Biren of Disintegrating Manipur

In a shocking turn of events in the state’s political landscape, former State President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Manoharmayum Barish Sharma, has accused the former Chief Minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, of disintegrating the state.

In a video shared on social media, Barish was seen surrounded by women, who reportedly came to meet him over his recent Facebook post.

In the video, which lasted about 49 seconds, Barish said, "Shall I disclose everything? I was the first Meitei village volunteer who was arrested."

The former BJYM president further stated, "Had we not worked under his (referring to Biren’s) instructions? Kill me if you wish to. Let me make things clear: Biren has disintegrated Manipur."

It is learned that the womenfolk had stormed Barish’s residence due to his Facebook post, in which he claimed that participants of a sit-in protest recently held were paid Rs 500 each.
