In Churachandpur district, a total 3,508 students appeared for the 2024 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination across 15 examination centers. The total number of candidates enrolled for the exam is 3,542, but 34 students were absent on the day of the examination.
Exam centres in Churachandpur district include Children’s Training School, Donbosco Higher Secondary School (A&B), Pathway Academy, Grace Academy, Gandhi Memorial High School, Sielmat Christian Higher Secondary School, Siamsinpawlpi Residential School, Young Learner’s School, Assemblies of God High School, Greenwood Academy, Saviour’s Public School, V.K Tawna High School and Singngat High School.
The Kuki Stuents’ Organization Churachandpur is also making rounds at the exam centres to ensure the free and fair conduct of the exam.
Notably, 37,715 students are appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examinations, 2024, comprising 19,087 male students and 18,628 female students. The said board exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM), has been conducted across 154 exam centres, with 91 in the valley districts and 63 in the hill districts.
The HSLC examination, which commenced today, is scheduled to conclude on April 8, 2024.
