The Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum (ITLF) has expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the all NGO Coordination Committee, the people of Mizoram, and the state government led by its chief minister Zoramthanga for the statewide rally on Tuesday in support of their brothers and sisters in Manipur

A word of gratitude release by ITLF on Tuesday stated that the Kuki-Zo tribals of Manipur have been subjected to ethnic cleansing by the Meitei community with the support of the state machinery for the past three months

ITLF stated that the savagery shown by the majority community in how they treat tribals and their lack of morality in how they assault women has shaken the conscience of the country. It is only due to the help of Mizoram that the Kuki-Zo tribals can carry on their fight to preserve their families and land.
