Kangpokpi MLA Nemcha Kipgen condemns the shocking viral video incident, demands capital punishment

Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency MLA, Nemcha Kipgen, who is also the Textiles, Commerce, and Industry and Cooperation, Govt. of Manipur condemned the recent horrific viral video incident and demanded "Capital Punishment" to the culprits who committed the heinous crime.

The senior BJP woman Minister while strongly condemning the shocking viral video incident said that as a mother, sister, and daughter of India, I have no words to express my deep pain and sorrow after seeing the recent viral video where our Kuki-Zo women were paraded naked, and sexually assaulted by the Meitei mobs on May 4.

The Minister continued that I vehemently raised strong condemnation against this horrific and gruesome incident which shocked the whole world and hung the Indian heads in shame.

"The culprits involved in this aggravated form of rape which is a gross human rights violation must be given capital punishment without any bias at the earliest without any delay", demanded Nemcha Kipgen.

"Attack on the dignity of women is an attack on humanity at large", the Minister further added.

The minister then assured that she will extend all possible assistance from her end to deliver justice to the victims.
