The highlight of the celebration was a "Bada Khanna" (community feast) organized for all personnel, including CRPF members stationed in the district. In a gesture of humility and solidarity, IPS Manoj Prabhakar, SP Kangpokpi, personally led the distribution of food alongside his subordinate officers, emphasizing the bond between the leadership and their teams. The scene reflected not just the unity within the force, but also the deep respect shared among officers and their ranks.

Several local bodies, including the Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kuki Women Union Sadar Hills, and various civil society organizations, along with the District Administration led by Mahesh Chaudhari, IAS, DC Kangpokpi, actively participated in the festivities. Their involvement underscored the strong relationship between the police and the community, a vital factor in maintaining peace and progress in the region.

Addressing the gathering, SP Manoj Prabhakar highlighted the profound historical importance of the day. "One hundred and thirty-three years ago, on this very day, the Manipur Rifles Battalion was formed, marking the beginning of a force that has become synonymous with courage, professionalism, and unwavering integrity," he remarked. He emphasized that the Manipur Police have not only safeguarded the people of the state but have also played a pivotal role in maintaining law and order, which has been a key driver of Manipur's economic and social development over the decades.

"We stand here today, not only to honor our history but to renew our commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and prosperous future for all citizens of Manipur," Prabhakar added, underscoring the force's dedication to upholding justice and peace in the face of growing challenges.

As the state continues to navigate complex security and developmental challenges, today's celebration stood as a powerful reminder of the critical role played by the Manipur Police in preserving the state's stability and fostering its growth. The event concluded with a renewed pledge to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people, ensuring that the values of service, integrity, and courage that have defined the Manipur Police for over a century continue to inspire future generations.
