While condoling to all those killed and injured at Khamenlok area incident, under Saikul Sub-Division, Kangpokpi district, few days back, the Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) on Sunday advised those rational-sane Meiteis to 'Stay Home and Stay Safe,' and requested them 'not to go and die' at Kuki-Zo Villages.

In its press statement, KIM also suggested the rational-sane Meiteis to leave Manipur so as to avoid the forcible participation in attacking Kuki villages by the radicalized Meiteis.

"And if the Radicalized sections of the Meiteis are forcing you to attack the Kukis then we suggest you leave Manipur and wishes you all the best for your future endeavours," KIM stated, and urged the general public at large and the Meiteis in particular not to believe in rumours and fake news.

Labelling the Chief Minister as 'Chief Agent of Violence,' the Kuki apex body responded to the press conference held by N. Biren Singh on 15th June, and addressed some of the points which he mentioned. KIM said N. Biren Singh was adamant that the present conflagration is the State Govt. against illegal immigrant. However, the real issue is the majoritarian integrationist policy of N. Biren Singh, wherein he is able to colonise the minds of frustrated-unemployed-chauvinist Meiteis whom he has turned into Radical Meitei Terrorists to terrorize Indian Civilians here in this case the Kuki-Zo Indians.

Pointing out N. Biren Singh's statement on safeguarding the unity and integrity of Manipur and to not compromise 'even an inch of land' to any force, KIM responded in putting trust on the Constitution of India.

"According to our Samvidhan as enlisted in Article 3(b), (c), (d) and (e); the parliament may by law increase, diminish the area of any State; alter the boundaries and the name of any State respectively," KIM said.

KIM also put out some questions to N. Biren Singh, such as whether his government was indirectly challenging the constitutionality of the Parliament of India, or whether N. Biren Singh and Sanajaoba took an oath under the Constitution of India. Why they (Biren and Sanajaoba) are acting against on the very thing which they swore to protect and uphold, KIM asked, stating that one cannot but smell a tinge of insubordination towards the Constitution. A tinge of Anti-national element can be felt, it said.

While N. Biren Singh keeps calling those who defended their villages as Militants, the Kuki Inpi Manipur urged the central forces to take strict action against those Radicalized Meitei terrorists' groups who are attacking Kukis and their villages.

The Kuki Village Volunteers are exercising their constitutional rights under Article 21: 'Protection of life and personal liberty' which N. Biren Singh and his Radical Meitei Terrorist seek to violate, KIM stated, and reminded N. Biren Singh that the Kukis going back to Imphal and resettling with his people is next to impossible. N. Biren Singh should not direct a state government what to do or not do.

In addition, the Kuki Inpi Manipur took strong exception to the press statement issued by the so-called All Assam Manipuri Youths' Association wherein it "appeals to the ruling Mizo National Front to withdraw within three days w.e.f. 14/06/2023 their support for the separate administration for the Kuki people in Manipur...". KIM stated that the All Assam Manipuri Youths' Association was too naive, and nescient of the ethnicity of the Kuki people who share the same roots of origin, yet politically divided in three countries viz;- India, Myanmar and Bangladesh. It is advisable on the part of the All Assam Manipuri Youths' Association to have in-depth historical analysis before making such a preposterous statement, KIM stated.

It further stated that the Association must also be reminded itself of the State-sponsored terrorism, the institutionalized violence and nexus between the police commandos, the Arambai Tenggol, the Meitei Leepun and the Meitei public who have compelled the Kukis to live separately as there exist irreconcilable differences and wide-ranging hostilities between the two communities.

Alleging that valley-based Manipur State Forces have been compromised, KIM urged the central government and its central forces to maintain law and order situation in Manipur.
