KSO extends gratitude to the UGC for conferring Autonomous Status upon Rayburn College

The Education Department of Kuki Students’ Organization General Headquarters extended heartfelt gratitude to the University Grants Commission for conferring autonomous status upon Rayburn College.

Thangmoi Haokip, Education Secretary, KSO-GHQ said that the recognition by the UGC is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of Rayburn College to the pursuit of academic excellence while adding that the grant of autonomous status not only acknowledges the institution’s outstanding contributions to education but also empowers Rayburn College with the autonomy to design and implement innovative academic programs, fostering a dynamic and progressive learning environment.

He expressed the student body’s sincere appreciation to the UGC for its thorough evaluation and consideration of Rayburn College’s achievements, infrastructure, and academic practices.

“This milestone is a reflection of the collective efforts of the entire Rayburn College community, including faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders, who have worked tirelessly to elevate the standard of education at the institution”, he added.

He also said that as Rayburn College embarks on this new phase of autonomy, we are confident that the institution will continue to set benchmarks in academic quality, research, and holistic development.

He continued that the autonomy granted by the UGC will undoubtedly enable Rayburn College to shape the future of education and contribute significantly to the intellectual landscape of our nation.

We look forward to witnessing the continued success and growth of Rayburn College as it leverages its autonomous status to chart new paths in academic innovation and excellence, he further added.
