The Kuki Students’ Organisation General Headquarters (KSO-GHQ) held its General Election for the term 2025-2028 today at the KIC Complex in Tuibong, Churachandpur. The event saw active participation from KSO Districts/Branches and student organizations from cognate tribes across the region.
In line with the election Code of Conduct under Article 104 of the KSO Constitution, the following office bearers were elected:
The newly elected executive members will expand the executive body by filling additional posts within 15 days from the election date. This process will be overseen by the President, in consultation with the KSO Standing Committee.
The election was conducted by the KSO Standing Committee, with Lunsei Touthang serving as the Presiding Officer. The election program was graced by the presence of leaders from various Kuki Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), including the Kuki Inpi Manipur, Kuki Khanglai Lawmpi – GHQ, and the Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights (KWOHR), among others.
