With regard to a news spreading on social media platform which thanked Chief Minister N. Biren Singh for helping the Meitei armed groups reaching Moreh, the border town, the Kuki Inpi Tengnoupal and Hill Tribes' Council, Moreh, have demanded the state government to either verify or clarify the matter; otherwise, the Kuki bodies warned, "the state government should be held responsible for any untoward incident arising out of it."
In a joint statement issued on Thursday, Media Cell of the Kuki-Zo bodies stated that the news released through 'Manipuri by Blood' which thanked CM N. Biren for helping the Meitei radical terrorist group, Arambai Tenggol alongwith the Manipur State Police Commando reaching Moreh through helicopter have gone viral in social media on Wednesday. Photos with caption too accompanied the viral news.
The tribal bodies said, "The state Government deploying non-Government armed personnels while creating tension is inviting fresh violence in Moreh."
The two bodies demanded N. Biren Singh-led state Government to either verify or clarify on the viral news and circulate the truth before it brings about any unwanted result. Otherwise the state Government shall be held solely responsible.
A video footage of a team of the Manipur Police Commandos reaching KLM Helipad in Moreh went viral on social media platforms on Wednesday. After the video clip went viral, social media users spread the news with a caption thanking Chief Minister N. Biren Singh for helping in landing the police personnel through helicopter.
