A popular morning spiritually inspirational story, "Jingkah Devotion Vol-III" was released today in Manipur's Kangpokpi town.

Written by Satkhokai Chongloi, more popularly known as Dr. S. Chongloi, the third edition of "Jingkah Devotion" one of the best-selling books among the Kukis in the digital age was released by Lenkhomang Chongloi, Chief of Taphou Kuki at Kangpokpi Christian Church as Chief Guest while it was dedicated by Rev. J. Lunkim, Pastor, Kangpokpi Christian Church.

The release ceremony was also attended by various prominent Kuki Christian leaders, Church leaders, and well-wishers apart from the churchgoers.

Speaking on the sideline of the releasing ceremony, Dr. S. Chongloi said that Jingkah Devotion is an illustration of spiritual food and short inspirational messages/stories with Biblical principles and moral support.

Narrating how he had begun writing inspirational stories, Dr. S. Chongloi said that
when the nationwide lockdown owing to the pandemic COVID-19 was announced in 2020 everyone remained indoors and even Church service was closed rendering many Christians spiritually hungry in a quest for spiritual food.

"It was that moment God had hinted to me to do something to provide spiritual food to the Christians and I started writing the Jingkah Devotion every night and then posted it in the WhatsApp group every morning for all to read which was converted into a book volume-wise every one year", he added.

"God is my inspiration and the spiritual touch of the book among the readers is my strength", he further added.

Dr. S. Chongloi recalled that I could not sleep unless I finished writing the morning devotion.

"A boy told me, Uncle, I have decided to kill myself after killing someone but after reading one of the Jingkah Devotion's inspirational stories, God convinced me to refrain from committing the crime", Dr. S. Chongloi averred how he witnessed the impact of his book in many's life.

A tea party marked the releasing ceremony of Jingkah Devotion Vol-III.
