The local MLA of Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency, Nemcha Kipgen, who is also the Minister for Textiles, Commerce, and Industry and Cooperation, Govt. of Manipur chaired a meeting of BJP Kangpokpi Mandal leaders and booth-level Karyakartas at Kangpokpi today.

The meeting held at the Minister's residence El-Shaddai, the Blessed Home at Kangpokpi deliberate on the ongoing preparation of the centennial episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Maan Ki Baat' on April 30.

BJP Kangpokpi Mandal is all set to broadcast Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Maan Ki Baat' in all the 42 polling booths under 50-Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency.

Minister Nemcha Kipgen said that as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is all set for its 100th episode, we are preparing to broadcast it in all the polling booths under 50-Kangpokpi AC so that everyone can conveniently listen to the Prime Minister's Maan Ki Baat.

She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started addressing the people via 'Maan Ki Baat' since 2014 to reach out to people in an effective way and it has been nine years and our PM Modi's initiative has turned out to be a huge success.

She also pointed out that Maan Ki Baat has been translated now into 23 Indian languages and 29 dialects and over the years, the program encompassed several topics ranging from weather, environment, cleanliness, and various social issues to even examinations.

The Minister further said that a Rs. 100 coin is also being minted as a special commemoration, which the Prime Minister himself will ‘release’, evoking thoughts of a coronation rather than routine broadcasts by a Prime Minister in a democracy.

As the nation looks forward to the centennial episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat, I sincerely appeal to all the people of Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency to listen to the Prime Minister addressing the people of India in Maan Ki Baat on April 30 at their respective polling booths.
