Manipur's MLA Kimneo Haokip Hangshing continues reaching out to Internally Displaced Persons in Kangpokpi district and particularly within her assembly constituency.
The Saikul MLA today reached out especially to the displaced children and displaced sick people at various relief camps in Kangpokpi.
A down-to-earth young MLA was seen making fun, playing, and taking photos with the children as she distributed sweets and chocolate to the children.
The first woman legislator from Saikul Assembly Constituency also visited the displaced sick people at various relief camps taking stock of their health condition while providing them financial assistance for their medical expenses.
MLA Kimneo said, "I am deeply hurt seeing the innocent children enduring the brunt of ethnic violence in relief camps".
"I have indulged in a childish act with them to return their lost smile even if for a second and I pray that they get back their innocent smile permanently very soon", the MLA said.
Saikul MLA Kimneo Haokip Hangshing apart from providing relief materials in all the relief camps within her constituency, has been tirelessly engaging in addressing the problems and needs of the displaced people.
