Moreh Hosts Seminar on Drug Abuse Awareness

The event aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse, prevention strategies, and support for those affected.

The Kuki Students' Organization Moreh Block, in collaboration with the Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS), organized a one-day seminar on drug abuse at St. George High School this morning. The event, starting at 8:00 AM, aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse, prevention strategies, and support for those affected.

Worneithang Rangla, Project Manager of The Dedicated People's Union's Targeted Intervention Project, facilitated the seminar, drawing on his extensive experience in drug rehabilitation and community health interventions.

Key objectives included educating participants on the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society, providing practical strategies for prevention and rehabilitation, and fostering community involvement in addressing drug-related issues. The seminar was well-received, highlighting the community's commitment to tackling drug abuse challenges.
