Outer MP Alfred Kanngam S. Arthur Visits Lamka; Chairs District Level DISHA Meeting

The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee(DISHA) meeting for Churachandpur and Pherzawl district was held today at Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat, Tuibong, Churachandpur.

Hon’ble MP II-Outer Manipur (ST) Lok Sabha Alfred Kanngam S Arthur, Chaired the meeting for the district and reviewed the achievements of the schemes and Programmes for the two districts.

Today’s meeting was held in the presence of Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur, Dharun Kumar S  and  Deputy Commissioner, Pherzawl, Smt. Mannuamching who were also a member Secretary of the districts development Coordination & Monitoring Committee(DISHA).

During the reviewed meeting the concerned district level officers from both the  districts   made presentation of the activities and achievements of their departments under various schemes and programmes which included Medical Department, Agriculture , Education,  Public Works Department(PWD), Public Health Engineering Department(PHED), District Rural Development Agency(DRDA), Zonal Educational Officer(ZEO), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act(MGNREGS), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana –(Gramin), National Social Assistance Programme(NSAP), etc.

Hon’ble MLA Henglep AC, Letzamang Haokip; Thangboi Gangte ADC; Smt. Vanlalkungi,CMO; Sridhar, SDO Singhat; Derek Khobung, SDO Sangaikot; Solomon L. Fimate SDO, Suangdoh; Alfred Khaute SDO Saikot; Abhijit, IFS, DFO; Lalboi Haokip MPS , SP Pherzawl; S. Khaikhopau Ngaihte SDO, Mualnuam and DLOs from the two ditricts attended the meeting.
