A Male staff Nurse and a group of police commandos intruded inside the Moreh Sub-district Hospital (SDH) and looted medicines and properties on Friday.
The male Nurse identified as Haobam Dinesh Meetei along with police commandos barged into the hospital at around 11:00 am of November 10 and looted properties. They broke-open the locks and doors of the store rooms and Almirahs where medicines and non-medicinal items were kept and looted properties including Desktop Computers, Extraction Forceps set, DNC set, Ambu bags (/BVM), Surgical Masks and Surgical gloves.
In connection with the looting of Moreh Hospital, the hospital authority had filed police complaint for FIR against H Dinesh Meetei and police commandos for taking necessary legal action .
Based on the police complaint huge number of hospital properties or items were taken away by the police commandos led by the male nurse such as one Desktop Computer set from OPD registration Counter, one Computer set from PMJAY Store room, one Aquaguard (RO) water purifier from OPD store room.
From the Nurses Station/Room, two Almirahs were destroyed, one Medical scale (weighing machine), one Air cooler, one wall clock, one stethoscope, one Sphygmomanometer (BP instrument), one ENT Diagnostic Set and some medicines were looted.
The police commandos also took away two dressing drums and Suture tray, extraction forceps set, one Ambu bag/BVM (bag valve mask), one box of NS Injection, Reagents and one water filter from Modular Operation Theatre (MOT).
From the MSK (Musculoskeletal) Store II, thr looters had taken away three Ambu bags /BVM (bag valve mask), two boxes of N95 Mask, two boxes of Surgical Hand gloves, 27 pieces of Hospital Blankets, 31 pieces of Bed sheets, 30 pieces of Pillows with covers, Dilation and Curettage set (DNC / D&C set), Dig.set, 12 pieces of Mosquito net, six pieces of PPE Dress (/Covid dress), two boxes of ORS powder and one set of BP instrument.
From COVID Room, hand gloves, Dispo, hand sanitizer and COVID medicines have been looted, including one set of Desktop Computers from KRSNAA lab room.
