A three-day Republic Day Relief Camps (IDPs) Sports Meet, 2024 was inaugurated by Smt. Mannuamching, District Nodal Officer (Relief Camp) at Vision Campus, Muollhum, Rengkai today.
The sports meet is organized by District Administration, Churachandpur for IDPs at different relief camps. A first of its kind event, the event will showcase sports disciplines like football (futsal), Volley Ball, Carrom and Tug-of-War.
As a part of the event, The Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign is also conducted with the aim to encourage eligible citizens to vote and make informed decisions during elections.
ThangboiGangte, ADC, KammuanlalSimte, SDO/Churachandpur, Joel Haokip, MCS, Jonathan Kom, SDO/Saikot, Samuel Lhungdim SDO/Singngat, teams from different relief camps, security forces and public leaders attended the inaugural event.
