Stage set for Republic Day celebrations in Churachandpur

To commemorate the 75^th Republic Day celebration on January 26, the full-dress rehearsal of the Republic Day Parade was held this morning at Public Ground, Hiangtam Lamka, Churachandpur.

The District Administration will celebrate Republic Day at Public Ground, Churachandpur. Dharun Kumar S, Deputy Commissioner of the district will unfurl the National Flag and take salute. About 27 contingents will participate in the Republic Day parade, commanded by Augustine J. Khongsai, Addl. SP/Churachandpur. Apart from cultural programmes, commendation certificates and awards will also be distributed to government officials and staff for distinguished service in the event.
