The Makhan Village Authority strongly urges armed groups to cease their surveillance activities in and around Makhan village immediately. In a release issued on Thursday, the authority conveyed its disapproval of armed groups advancing towards the village and conducting surveys on January 17.
The Makhan Village Authority explicitly expressed its intolerance towards such trespassing and deliberate interference in the village and its territory. The release notified armed groups engaging in unsolicited patrol-like advances and surveillance within the Makhan Naga Village's territory that these actions are entirely unacceptable.
Any future trespassing will be considered a flagrant violation, and the authority emphasized that such surveillance activities, whether carried out by armed or unarmed groups, must cease promptly, as they contradict the command and laws of Makhan Village.
The Makhan Village Authority is resolute in preventing such incidents of trespassing, which have the potential to escalate tension and lead to bloodshed, as stated in the release. Additionally, the release emphasized that Makhan Village, being a Naga Village, maintains a neutral stance in the current situation and is committed to pursuing peace and harmony.
