In a powerful demonstration of solidarity, ZO Reunification Organisation (ZORO) organized the 'Hnam Inpumkhatna Kawngzawh' - March for Unity - in Aizawl, on Saturday. Their resolute mission: to unite the Zo people under a single rule.

Marching from Millennium Center to Vanapa Hall, ZORO's supporters made their voices heard, demanding the unification of the Zo people.

The event was marked by the passing of four crucial resolutions, outlining their collective vision: Recognizing the Zo people as true siblings, irrespective of arbitrary boundaries imposed in India, Burma, and Bangladesh. They share a common heritage, culture, and aspirations.

Committing unwaveringly to achieving the long-awaited reunification of the Zo people, as enshrined on Resolution No.1 of the historic Chin-Lushai Conference held on January 29, 1892, in Calcutta, Fort William.

Emphasizing that the reunification of the Zo people remains their paramount hope and birthright. Drawing upon Article 3 of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, they reaffirm their commitment to peaceful endeavours, aiming to eventually unite Zo people under one administration.

Encouraging Zo people worldwide to actively contribute to the unification cause, harnessing their collective strength and determination.

Parallel to the march, ZORO successfully hosted a two-day "Zo People Conference," commencing yesterday, with esteemed Chief Guest Minister Lalruatkima in attendance.
Following the impactful rally, the conference was resumed at 1 PM today in Vanapa Hall, providing a platform for comprehensive discussions on the unification of the Zo people.
