Narrating his ordeals, he continued that during the attack, one person having a hearing problem was shot dead and later burnt.

Just before the visiting Union Home Minister left the state for Delhi on June 1 morning, the alleged Meitei radical groups, Arambai Tenggol militants and the state police commando and IRB personnel attacked two Kuki villages in Kangpokpi and Kamjong District killing two persons and injuring another two while burning down the two villages.

One of the escaped villagers of N. Mollen village under Yairipok Police Station in Island Sub Division of Kangpokpi district said that a large number of people around 400/500 with police commando and IRB personnel came to our village at around 4:30 am and attacked us.

He also said that the attackers did not even bother to kill an aged person as they shot dead Deikim Simte (75), wife of (L) Lenchinthang Simte, and another man Jangminthang Kipgen (45), husband of Nengkhokim Kipgen.

The sad part, according to him, was the attackers throw the dead bodies of the two victims into the burning fire.

Then, they burnt down the village comprised of 50 houses.

Similarly, T. Natjang village which comprised of 30 houses under Kasom Khullen police station in Kamjong district was also burnt down today allegedly by the Meitei radical groups assisted by the state police commando and IRB personnel.
