After completion of the whole process of first round of randomization of all EVMs and VVPATs in respect of the four Assembly segments and allotment of EVMs and VVPATs for special polling stations of Churachandpur District, the EVMs and VVPATs have been stored in the designated AC strong room located within the Mini-Secretariat Complex premises, Tuibong yesterday in the presence of representatives of political parties functioning in the District.
Assistant Returning Officers of 57-Henglep, 58-Churachandpur, 59-Saikot and 60- Singhat ACs were also present. Political parties’ representatives present affixed their seal on the locks.
The sealing of the designated Strong Room of the four Assembly Segments and Strong Room designated for Special Polling Stations for Inner and Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency was completed yesterday evening. All the double lock keys were handed over to the concerned AROs and ARO of Inner Manipur PC and ARO of Outer Manipur PC for Special Polling Stations and concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrates.
The first randomization process of the EVMs and VVPATs began on Saturday.
