The Indian National Congress (INC) party’s candidate for Outer Manipur constituency Alfred Kanngam Arthur visit Churachandpur district of Manipur on Tuesday

Alftred’s visit to the district was reportedly the first visit and campaign carried out in the Kuki-Zo dominated districts by candidates contesting in the outer MP constituency in the ensuing Lok Sabha election

Alfred met star campaigner and MPCC working president T Manga Vaiphei, Churachandpur, DCC president Lalnghet Hmar and other leaders of Churachandpur district during the visit.

In his intereaction with the congress workers , Arthur said the people should be united to fight against the rightful shares in all spheres and added that he will sincerely work for all sections of the society.

MPCC working president Victor Keishing while delivering a speech said that secularism in the democracy should be protected by the right thinking people.

Stating that the state has been reeling under a deep crisis since the past many months he added alleged that  the state government is to be blamed for the crisis

Alfred along with other party workers also visited relief camps in the district and  interacted with relief camps inmates and heard their grievances.
