Zillai, the Vaiphei Students’ Association, Kangpokpi block held its election during a general meeting today at South Changoubung village in Kangpokpi District.
The general election of the Zillai Kangpokpi block for the term 2023-2024 was conducted under Haothianlal Vaiphei and Lalcha Vaiphei as Election Commissioner in the presence of Vaiphei People’s Council Kangpokpi Block and Zillai Kangpokpi District leaders.
The newly elected Zillai Kangpokpi block executives are – Nicky Vaiphei (President), Thanglen Vaiphei (Vice President), Nengpi Vaiphei (General Secretary), Tingmuannem Vaiphei (Joint Secretary), Veineilam Vaiphei (Finance Secretary), Moonja Vaiphei (Secretary, Education cum Statistic), Lomii (Secretary, Social and Culture), and Mamang Vaiphei (Secretary, Games and Sports).
The meeting also decided to appoint Media in-charge and area executive members in the cabinet expansion meeting.
